A metal-fence manufacturer had tried paid before and written it off as unprofitable. I rebuilt the channel around a single product and a quiz funnel – and it turned a profit in the very first month.
They’d run ads before and concluded the obvious thing: “ads don’t work for us.” The spend went out, leads came in vague and unqualified, nothing closed. So paid got written off – when the real issue was that the channel was pointed at everything at once, with no way to separate a serious buyer from a tyre-kicker.
“Ads don’t work” almost always means “the funnel behind the ads doesn’t.”
